My name is Vilette Stevenson and I am 17 year old New York based photographer born in Brooklyn and raised in a dual heritage French + American Household. I grew up surrounded by different cultures and enviroments. I was drawn to photography as an art form at a very young age. As an art medium photography requires us to be present To witness life as it unfolds before us by doing this. We can see our surroundings more clearly rather than searching for an image or a particular aesthetic, my work extends from this focus on the present.
